Bridge2Future Care Group are on the lookout for a dedicated and enthusiastic individual to join our team within a specialist EBD Children's Residential Home in Bradford. The role will require working full time, 9am to 5pm across Monday to Friday each week. There will also be a requirement to contribute to an on-call rota and to cover shifts in the event of sickness, but this will be ad-hoc.

Our successful Deputy Manager will need to possess the following skills and attributes:
Minimum Diploma Level 3 or 4 in Residential Child Care (Children and Young Peoples Workforce) or equivalent.
2 years minimum working experience with Young People that have social and emotional difficulties, behavioural difficulties or have behaviour that challenges.
Full UK Manual Driving Licence
Ability to work shifts and sleep in the home overnight
Minimum of 1 years experience in leading shifts and overseeing a team of Support Workers
As a Deputy Manager you will be responsible for a range of duties as set out below:
Working alongside the Manager to oversee the day to day running of the Residential Home.
Ensuring that our Young People receive the highest standard of support/care appropriate to their individual needs.
Providing advice, assistance, and support to Young People, safeguarding their welfare at all times.
Line Managing a team of staff as set out by the Home Manager
Completing supervisions, appraisals and probationary review meetings with team members as required
Ensuring that all risks are safely managed in line with the company policies and procedures
Ensuring shifts are planned with Residential Support Workers, to take the lead on shift and be responsible for the events on the shift
Attending to Young People's practical, physical, and emotional needs and acting as an appropriate role model.
Working closely with Young People to enable them to address their difficulties and achieve their optimum potential.
Completing written reports and documentation
Setting up, coordinating, and reviewing Care plans, Risk Assessments, Behaviour Management Plans, Health Care Documentation, Agreements, and Incentives.
