Role Overview:




Our email platform is the strongest communication tool we have to engage and inspire our customers, drive sales, and distribute important event information. We are looking for an experienced

CRM Manager to lead email campaign deployments at Spartan and Tough Mudder, but most importantly, help to support in outlining short and long term email marketing strategy and optimisation plans for our UK and WEU team.


This person will work closely with the Global CRM Manager to execute email operations from start to finish, including development of design, templates, campaign HTML/CSS, campaign set-up, and execution. The CRM Manager will collaborate with the marketing team on best practices and strategies to drive revenue and customer engagement through promotional, triggered, and lifecycle marketing campaigns.


The role will work hyrbid and is expected to spend part of the week in an office with the team.

Responsibilities:



Design and build best-in-class, high-performing email campaigns within Salesforce Marketing Cloud Collaborate closely with the CRM and Marketing team to implement a robust test-and-learn strategy, continuously optimising performance across the UK and Western Europe Ensure all email communications are fully responsive and render seamlessly across a broad range of devices and platforms Propose and develop innovative, creative approaches and modular templates tailored to key audience segments Lead the implementation of email lifecycle campaigns, from acquisition and subscriber growth to sales conversion and essential pre- and post-event communications, while reinforcing our lifestyle brand and deepening customer loyalty Monitor and drive improvements in email performance metrics (including deliverability, open and click-through rates, conversions, opt-out rates, and attributed revenue) through structured A/B testing and data-driven insights Partner with stakeholders across Marketing, Partnerships, and Events to ensure campaign calendars align with strategic business priorities and fulfil both customer expectations and partner commitments Liaise regularly with counterparts in the US and Manila to coordinate the timely and effective execution of global and regional campaigns

REQUIREMENTS:





Proficient in drag-and-drop email builders, with working knowledge of HTML/CSS for email editing and troubleshooting Hands-on experience using Salesforce Marketing Cloud (e.g. ExactTarget) to build audience segments, create email campaigns, and manage deployments Familiarity with personalisation tools such as Movable Ink or similar platforms Strong design skills, with genuine passion and enthusiasm for creative excellence Exceptional attention to detail, with experience using render testing tools such as Litmus to ensure consistent cross-device and cross-client performance Solid understanding of the technical limitations and best practices in email template development * Experience working with CRM or email marketing platforms to manage data and campaign execution
