We are a vibrant and creative pottery painting shop that offers a unique experience combining a pottery studio, a soft play area for children, and a cozy cafe.

Our goal is to provide a welcoming and fun environment for families, individuals, and groups looking to explore their creativity while enjoying quality time together.

Job Summary:

We are looking for an enthusiastic and friendly Manager to join our team 5 days a week (including weekends)

11am to 5pm weekdays

10am to 5pm on Saturdays

11am to 4:45pm on Sundays

This role involves supporting customers with pottery painting, ensuring the soft play area remains safe and tidy, and assisting in the cafe with basic service and cleaning duties. The ideal candidate will have excellent customer service skills, a passion for creativity, and the ability to multitask in a lively environment.

Key Responsibilities:

Greet customers and provide a warm welcome. Assist customers in choosing pottery pieces and guide them through the painting process. Offer creative advice and inspiration to customers. Handle cash and card payments accurately. Monitor and maintain the cleanliness and safety of the soft play area. Assist with serving food and drinks in the cafe, including making light refreshments. Clear tables and wash up after customer use. Glazing of Pottery Support the team in organizing workshops, parties, and special events. Ensure all equipment and materials are stocked and in good condition. Follow health and safety regulations to maintain a clean and safe environment for all visitors.

Requirements:

Previous experience in customer service, hospitality, or a creative setting is desirable but not essential. Previous experience as a barista is desirable but not essential. Friendly and approachable with excellent communication skills. Ability to work efficiently in a busy environment. Comfortable working with children and families. Basic food handling and hygiene knowledge (training can be provided). desirable but not essential. A positive and proactive attitude with a willingness to learn. Flexibility to work weekends and holidays as required.
