The main purpose of the Information Compliance Manager role is to be responsible for the implementation and management, of all Information Compliance matters including the provision of advice and guidance on Data Protection (DP), Freedom of Information (FoI), Information Sharing/MOU, Data Protection Impact Assessment (DPIA) and Publication Scheme requirements.


To fulfil the role of Deputy Data Protection Officer (DPO) for West Mercia Police and deputise for the Force DPO (Head of ARC) in respect of the DPA 2018.


To maintain implementation of all necessary policies, procedures and other measures for West Mercia Police to meet mandated compliance with the Authorised Professional Practice (APP) for DP and FoI matters.

The Information Compliance Manager role is a hybrid (mix of home & office working) role
