The Garden Room is a lovely coffee shop and restaurant in New Oscott, located at Hall's Garden Centre.
We are seeking a Manager to join our team at The Garden Room. In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of the shop's daily operations, including staff management and customer service.
Responsibilities
Prepare and serve coffee, tea, and other beverages to customers with attention to quality.
Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the coffee shop area, ensuring compliance with food safety standards.
Assist customers with menu selections and provide recommendations based on their preferences.
Handle cash transactions accurately and efficiently.
Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth operations during busy periods.
Monitor inventory levels of food and beverage supplies, placing orders as necessary.
Requirements
Experience in food preparation or barista roles preferred.
Strong understanding of food safety practices.
Excellent customer service skills with a friendly demeanor.
Ability to work well in a team-oriented environment.
Basic knowledge of coffee brewing techniques is a plus.
