The Front of House Manager plays a pivotal role in ensuring a seamless and enjoyable experience for our customers. This position is responsible for overseeing the front-of-house operations, managing staff, and maintaining high standards of service and hospitality. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in restaurant or hospitality management, with a passion for food and customer service.
Responsibilities
Supervise and lead the front-of-house team, ensuring exceptional service delivery at all times.
Manage daily operations, including overseeing food preparation and service, to maintain quality standards.
Train and mentor staff in hospitality best practices, food safety protocols, and effective team management techniques.
Collaborate with the kitchen team to ensure smooth communication between front-of-house and back-of-house operations.
Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the dining area, ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations.
Handle customer inquiries, feedback, and complaints with professionalism to enhance customer satisfaction.
Assist in inventory management, including ordering supplies and monitoring stock levels.
Implement strategies to improve service efficiency and enhance the overall customer experience.
Skills
Proven experience in a supervisory role within a restaurant or hospitality environment.
Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a diverse team effectively.
Excellent culinary knowledge with experience in food preparation, cooking, and food production.
Familiarity with food safety standards and regulations to ensure compliance.
Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written, to interact effectively with customers and staff alike.
Experience in serving customers with a focus on delivering outstanding hospitality.
Background in kitchen operations or barista experience is advantageous.
