Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced manager/shift leader to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills and a passion for hospitality, ensuring that our operations run smoothly during their shift. As a Shift Leader, you will be responsible for managing staff, overseeing food preparation, and maintaining high standards of food safety and service quality. This role is crucial in creating a positive experience for both our team and our guests.

Responsibilities

Lead and manage the team during shifts, ensuring efficient operations and excellent customer service. Oversee food preparation processes, ensuring adherence to culinary standards and food safety regulations. Train and mentor staff in hospitality practices, coffee making , latte art , smoothies ans milkshake, iced drinks and kitchen operations. Assist with inventory management, including ordering supplies and monitoring stock levels. Handle customer inquiries and complaints professionally, providing solutions to enhance guest satisfaction. Collaborate with management to implement new policies or procedures aimed at improving service quality. Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen and service areas in compliance with health regulations. Support the team in various roles as needed, including bartending or assisting in food preparation.

Requirements

Proven experience in a leadership role within the hospitality or culinary industry. Strong team management skills with the ability to motivate and inspire staff. Knowledge of food safety standards and best practices in food preparation. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written. Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail. A proactive approach to problem-solving with a focus on helping others succeed.

Pay: 33,000.00-35,000.00 per year
