Against this backdrop Deloitte's Credit Risk Management practice assists clients in streamlining and transforming their end-to-end Credit Risk Operating Model including key credit risk processes. A particular focus for the team is supporting clients with enhancing their stress testing and scenario analysis. The team is further strengthened by having a close network within Risk, Regulation and Analytics and is widely regarded as market leading.
In response to the growing demand for the team's services, we are looking for a Manager to join the team, working on stress testing engagements at a range of clients and to work on initiatives to support the growth of our business.

Successful applicants will work closely with the leadership of the Credit Risk Advisory practice. The role will require a flexible approach to tackle a wide range of tasks including:
Supporting end-to-end reviews of stress testing processes to assess opportunities for enhancement and recommend innovative solutions to increase productivity and reduce costs;
Supporting reviews of different aspects of banks' stress testing processes including - scenario design; model execution; results analysis; documentation; and frameworks;
Supporting clients with delivery of different aspects of stress testing including: scenario design, expansion and review; model execution; results analysis; project management; and documentation. This could apply across various stress testing use cases including regulatory stress testing, ICAAPs and also internal/ management stress testing;
Supporting clients with the design of their stress testing processes, including stress testing frameworks;
Supporting clients with climate scenario analysis, advising them on how to incorporate climate risk into their scenario analysis and stress testing programmes;
Supporting clients with the appropriate integration of stress testing into risk management, ensuring they are realising the full benefits of stress testing;
Supporting the design and implementation of stress testing tools;
Being flexible and collaborative in taking on other duties commensurate with the grade and the nature of the post;
Working effectively in diverse teams within an inclusive team culture where people are recognised for their contribution.

Essential
To qualify for the role you must have:
A passion for stress testing and a very strong desire to be part of the team.
Stress testing experience in a project-based banking environment or a consulting environment covering at least two of the following (or equivalent):
+ Scenario design or expansion.
+ Stress testing execution.
+ Stress testing reporting. Knowledge of regulatory stress testing requirements.
Knowledge of stress testing use cases and appropriate processes.
Strong business communication skills, both verbally and through the use of PowerPoint, Word and Excel.
Core business analysis skills across requirements, business process design.
Strong work ethic and commitment to delivering excellence to clients.
Professional and personable with excellent team working skills.
Proactive, highly collaborative and capable of working independently.
Flexible to adjust to Deloitte culture and work in line with our shared values.
Some project management and people management or equivalent experience.
Evidence of relevant professional work experience.
Desirable:
Experience/ knowledge of climate risk stress testing or scenario analysis.
Knowledge of economics/ finance or equivalent.
Knowledge of climate risk in the context of banks.
Knowledge of broader bank credit risk processes.
Knowledge/ experience of designing/ implementing stress testing frameworks.
Knowledge/ experience of coding languages (e.g. Python).
