We are seeking a dedicated and innovative Curriculum Lead/Manager to oversee the development and implementation of educational programmes. They will be required to lead the 2+ room, lead the staff team including having line manager responsibility for the team. This position requires strong communication skills both written and verbal, the ability to educate others.
Responsibilities
Develop and manage comprehensive curriculum plans that meet educational standards and learner needs.
Collaborate with educators to design activities and resources that enhance teaching effectiveness.
Present curriculum updates and training sessions to staff, ensuring clear understanding and implementation of new initiatives.
Evaluate the effectiveness of curriculum programmes through assessments and feedback, making necessary adjustments for continuous improvement.
Communicate regularly with parents to inform of children's learning.
Stay updated on educational trends and technologies to incorporate innovative practices into the curriculum.
Line manage staff team, including inductions, peer observations and supervisions.
Ensure the smooth running of the nursery including safety.
Be part of the senior leadership team.
Requirements
Proven experience in curriculum development or educational programme management.
Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written.
A minimum of a level 3 qualification in Early Years
Has been a room leader/senior in a nursery provision
