Managing Quantity Surveyor (MQS)

to join our team in Basildon, Essex. This is your chance to manage the commercial aspects of major M&E projects ranging from 500,000 to 2.5 million.

What You'll Do

Commercial Management:

Oversee all commercial aspects of our M&E projects.

Contract Expertise:

Use your knowledge of

NEC

and

JCT

contract forms to manage and communicate with clients and subcontractors.

Reporting:

Produce accurate cost plans, project cash flow forecasts, and detailed progress reports.

Procurement:

Handle all procurement and sub-contracting processes.

Teamwork:

Collaborate closely with the client and our internal team to ensure seamless project delivery.

What We're Looking For

A minimum of

2 years of Quantity Surveying experience

is preferred. Experience in an MQS role on M&E projects, or an M&E engineering background combined with QS experience. Exceptional communication skills and a strong client-focused approach. Experience in writing detailed cost and progress reports. A Bachelor's degree is preferred.

55,000 - 65,000 per year, depending on experience.
