Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Mandarin language practice partner to join our team. This role is pivotal in building and maintaining relationships with clients, particularly in the realm of language education and support for individuals with Mandarin learning goals. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in working with various clients, demonstrating exceptional communication skills and a commitment to fostering inclusive environments in classes.

Duties

Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, ensuring their needs to practice Mandarin are met effectively. Collaborate with educators and support tutors to deliver the weekly group classes effectively. Provide guidance and support to families, helping them navigate available resources and services. Participate in weekly group classes/cultural events, offering language practice to our clients during the classes. Maintain accurate records of client interactions, progress reports, and service outcomes.

Qualifications

A background in education or a related field is desirable. Proven experience in teaching or tutoring language is advantageous. Strong mentoring skills with the ability to inspire and motivate others. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, enabling effective interaction with clients and colleagues. A compassionate approach towards working with individuals from diverse backgrounds and abilities. Ability to work collaboratively within a team while also being self-motivated to achieve individual goals. Job Type: Part-time

Pay: 15.00-29.20 per hour

Expected hours: 3 per week
