Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and professional Lymphoedema / Lymphatic drainage Massage Therapist to join our practice team. The successful candidate will provide therapeutic lymphatic drainage massage treatments to clients, promoting relaxation, alleviating pain, and enhancing overall well-being. This role offers an excellent opportunity for individuals passionate about health and holistic care to make a positive impact on clients' lives through specialised massage techniques.

The position is part time and self-employed at a local Physiotherapy Practice in Frinton on Sea Essex.

Duties

Conduct personalised lymphatic drainage massage sessions based on client needs Assess clients' physical conditions and discuss treatment goals before each session Maintain detailed records of treatments provided and client progress Ensure the treatment area is clean, organised, and relaxing for clients Educate clients on post-treatment care and recommend appropriate follow-up sessions or self-care practices Adhere to health and safety standards, including hygiene protocols and professional boundaries Stay updated with the latest lymphatic massage therapy techniques and continuing professional development

Experience

Previous experience and qualification as a Lymphatic Drainage Massage Therapist with a qualification to treat lympheodema patients as well. Level 3 massage qualification including the above Excellent communication skills to understand client needs and explain treatment procedures clearly Ability to create a calming environment that promotes relaxation and comfort for clients Registered with the appropriate professional body for lymphatic drainage massage

Pay: 15.00-30.00 per hour
