Job Description
Our client is seeking a skilled
Manual Machinist
to join their engineering team on a permanent basis in Walsall, West Midlands. The successful candidate will be responsible for setting up and operating various manual machining equipment, including centre lathes, bridgeports, and capstans. You will ensure precise manufacturing of components according to technical drawings and specifications, maintaining high standards of quality and safety. The role requires a proactive approach to machine setup, operational accuracy, and maintenance, working closely with other team members to meet production deadlines.Experience operating centre lathes, bridgeport milling machines, and capstan lathes. Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings accurately. Proven track record in manual machining and machine setup. Strong understanding of health and safety regulations within an engineering environment.
