The Company is well established and manufactures components in exotic materials for many Key Industries, including Aerospace,Nuclear and Off Shore. Due to continual investment we have a vacancy for an experienced Manual Turner. It is essential that applicants have a solid background in Machining techniques and well-developed skills In the methods of Inspection.

The Role and Responsibilities.

Reporting to Production Manager.

Desirable to have some Knowledge of either lathes or Borers as Ability to set CNC lathes and turning machines with minimum supervision is ideal but not essentail Actively participate in our Health and Safety culture and adhering to our Health and Safety procedures at all times. Ability to work to olerances. Troubleshooting of manufacturing problems associated with Machining. Conversant with cutting tool philosophies and techniques. Has knowledge of processes and tooling for machining of high temperature alloys. Strong understanding of quality based processes and standards. Demonstrate a full commitment to work closely to all relevant staff. Manual proof machining experience experience of treppanning,boring and drilling larger products
