Job Purpose
To support Love Joes' commitment to compliance, quality, and continuous improvement in manufacturing by undertaking internal audits across all manufacturing departments (Production, Engineering, Butchery, Hygiene, and Technical) and delivering training to ensure staff competency and compliance. The role will dynamically move between compliance auditing and training based on day to day requirements, playing a critical part in maintaining high standards and developing our people.
Fundamental Duties and Responsibilities
Conduct internal audits across all manufacturing departments (Production, Manufacturing Maintenance, Butchery, Hygiene, and Technical) to ensure compliance with company standards, policies, and regulatory requirements.
Document findings, identify non-conformances, and support corrective actions.
Report audit results to the Technical Team and support managers in implementing improvements.
Monitor progress of corrective actions and escalate issues where necessary.
Assist in preparing for external audits by ensuring continuous compliance readiness.
Deliver on-the-job training for all manufacturing staff, covering induction, role-specific training, retraining, and refresher modules.
Ensure training materials and methods reflect best practice, compliance requirements, and company standards.
Support a culture of continuous improvement through proactive coaching and knowledge-sharing on the shop floor.
Support the People Team by recording completed on-the-job training, contributing to training plans, and ensuring information is shared for central tracking.
Knowledge and Skills
Internal Auditor training (desirable)
Food manufacturing or technical compliance experience
Strong attention to detail and ability to follow structured processes.
Good communication and coaching skills for delivering training effectively.
Ability to write clear audit reports and maintain accurate training records.
