We're looking for a hands-on Manufacturing Coordinator to join our Coalville team.
Responsibilities:
Lead daily shop floor operations to meet production, quality & delivery goals
Hands-on troubleshooting of production and technical issues
Collaborate with engineering, planning & quality teams
Ensure strict compliance with Health, Safety, and Environmental (HSE) standards and promote a culture of safety across the shop floor
Maintain and uphold high-level quality assurance standards throughout production processes
Enforce housekeeping standards
Use IT systems for job tracking and reporting
Review and develop technical packs
Identify training needs and lead staff skill development
Manage discipline and performance of shopfloor staff, ensuring standards are maintained and issues addressed promptly
Promote continuous improvement and team accountability
Requirements:
Minimum 10 years manufacturing experience
At least 5 years in fabrication, including grinding, dressing & press work
Strong engineering background (preferably aerospace or precision engineering)
Proven experience ensuring compliance with HSE standards in a manufacturing environment
Experience working within or supporting high-level quality assurance systems (e.g., AS9100, ISO9001)
Experience in coordination, team lead, or supervisory roles including discipline and performance management
Skilled in reviewing technical documentation
Confident with production IT systems & Microsoft Office
Strong interpersonal and leadership skills
Preferred:
Time-served apprenticeship or HNC/HND in Mechanical/Aerospace Engineering
Experience in regulated, high-spec manufacturing

Rotating Shifts (37 hours): Mon to Weds 6.00am to 2.00pm - 2.00pm to 10.00pm, Thurs 6.00am to 1.00pm - 1.00pm to 8.00pm, Fri 6.00am to 12.00pm - 12.00pm to 06.00pm
