DAC is one of the leading manufacturers of lift control panels in the UK. Based in Daventry, Northamptonshire, we have been trading since 2010 and focus on producing reliable, technically robust products for the lift industry and related sectors.
We run the business using the EOS (Entrepreneurial Operating System) framework, which provides clear structure, accountability and a consistent way of identifying and solving issues across all departments.
We are now looking for an Electrical Assembler to join our team in Daventry.
Role Overview
You will be responsible for assembling electrical products and associated components to defined standards, working from drawings, work instructions and build schedules.
The role suits someone with experience in electrical assembly or general manufacturing assembly who is accurate, consistent and takes pride in well-finished work.
Key Responsibilities
Electrical and mechanical assembly of control panels and related products
Wiring, crimping, routing cables, producing looms and terminating cables
Using hand tools and basic workshop equipment safely and correctly
Following build documentation, drawings and work instructions
Working to daily/weekly build plans and meeting agreed deadlines
Carrying out basic checks on your own work to maintain quality standards
Following company procedures for health & safety and housekeeping
Raising issues or improvement ideas through our EOS-based processes
Skills & Experience
Essential
Experience in electrical assembly
or
general assembly within a manufacturing/production environment
Confident using hand tools and basic electrical/mechanical assembly tools
Ability to follow technical instructions, drawings or build documents
Good attention to detail and a methodical approach
Reliable, punctual and able to work as part of a small, focused team
Eligible to work in the UK
Desirable
Experience assembling control panels, electrical enclosures, assembly lines or similar products
Basic understanding of electrical safety
