Nter Talent is proud to partner with our client, supporting their mission to advance the Boxer MIV programme through exceptional engineering and manufacturing excellence.
This role focuses on developing the Assembly, Integration and Test (AIT) element - ensuring knowledge transfer from the German parent company and embedding best practices across production.

• Shape the UK AIT capability for one of the country's most advanced defence manufacturing projects.
• Lead process improvement initiatives during ramp-up and stable production phases.
• Be the central knowledge point for AIT, tooling, and production methods.
• Drive a continuous improvement culture across manufacturing operations.

What You'll Be Doing:

• Transfer AIT production knowledge from the parent company to Stockport operations.
• Support operators and enhance their technical understanding of AIT processes and parts.
• Lead structured problem-solving and lean process improvement.
• Coordinate cross-functional teams to optimise cost performance and reduce waste.
• Provide design-for-manufacture input during product development.
• Develop standard operations and work balance charts.
• Ensure compliance with all EHS and quality standards.

What We're Looking For:

• Bachelor's degree (or equivalent) in Mechanical/Manufacturing Engineering, or HND/Higher Apprenticeship.
• Experience in complex engineering/manufacturing environments.
• Strong understanding of Engineering Change processes.
• SAP planning experience and BOM structuring skills.
• Hands-on, proactive approach with excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
