Manufacturing Engineer
Salary Dependent on Experience
Our well-established client services the Aerospace, Defence and Marine Sectors. They are looking for an enthusiastic and driven Production Engineer to join their growing team!
Roles and Responsibilities:
Generate workshop job packs to AS9100 standard for release on to the shop floor
Decide and plan optimum manufacturing methods and processes
Working to customer specifications and quality standards
Support production with technical issues
Identifying and organising tooling requirements for new parts
Working closely with both customers and suppliers
Ideal Candidate:
Aerospace or other (high precision) manufacturing background
Experience and understanding of machining and manufacturing processes
A good understanding of materials and surface treatment processes
Commercial awareness
Experience with ERP systems and Excel
Experience with CAD systems (Catia) beneficial
