What does a Manufacturing Engineering Technician Apprenticeship Scheme involve day to day?
Over 30 months, we'll show you in depth how we turn our quality new JCB products to time and budget constraints. You will be supporting functions and working with our production, manufacturing, logistics and quality departments. You'll see the implementation of innovative technologies, streamline processes through designing on CAD new tooling and equipment to ensure ultimate efficiency and also writing SOPS (Standard Operating Procedures). Being at the forefront of product introduction means you will be always one step ahead, thinking creatively about all our processes.
Our designated training provider for this apprenticeship is Coleg Cambria and you'll be based at Deeside
What comes next? * We'll be reviewing applications against the essential criteria then shortlisting and sending out links to our online assessments in November 2025 - January 2026 (we'd recommend you keep a look out for emails at this point as you'll hear from us either way).
