About the Role




We're looking for a proactive and detail-oriented

Manufacturing Expeditor

to join our Manufacturing team. In this key role, you'll ensure production schedules run smoothly by creating and maintaining internal works orders, updating the ERP system, and coordinating closely with internal departments to manage priorities and resolve issues efficiently.


You'll play a crucial part in keeping projects on track -- reacting quickly to changes in plan or capacity, expediting bottleneck items, and driving effective communication across departments. This position requires a strong understanding of low-volume manufacturing processes, particularly machining and fabrication activities.

Key Responsibilities



Create and maintain internal works orders aligned with ERP system output and production schedules. Provide progress updates during project meetings and support operational planning. Manage and distribute manufacturing tasks, ensuring workload is balanced and deadlines are met. Track and report on internal and external manufacturing processes, expediting as needed. Collaborate with the ERP BOM controller to ensure manufacturing feedback is accurately reflected in records. Work with Procurement and Shop Floor teams to progress chase and resolve bottlenecks. Report on KPI data to support continuous improvement and efficiency. Promote effective communication and teamwork across all departments. Uphold company values, maintaining high standards of professionalism and safety at all times.

Skills & Experience



Proven experience working with

MRP/ERP systems

. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Exceptional attention to detail and organisational ability. Confident managing multiple priorities with a proactive, can-do attitude. Proficient in

MS Office applications

and comfortable working across various software environments. Understanding of

small-scale manufacturing

processes (machining, fabrication). Ability to read and interpret

technical drawings
