Reporting to the IOI Supply Chain Finance Manager, this role is pivotal to ensure control and clear reporting of all Manufacturing and Capex related costs. The role will provide a high level of analytical and operational support to the Manufacturing Team, wider Supply Chain Finance (SCF) Team and Capex Stakeholders. The successful applicant will be a key individual contributor and trusted source of knowledge and support within an existing, high performing team. It requires strong cross-functional integration with the Supply Chain teams and Capex stakeholders to understand cost drivers and behaviours.
YOUR NEW KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Stakeholder management
Build strong cross-functional relationships with local and Group managers around manufacturing labour and other production overhead costs to support the identification & execution of improved efficiencies and cost improvement initiatives.
Act as Key Manufacturing and Capex representative at monthly finance meetings requiring inputs;
Coach the Supply Chain teams in disciplines of cost control and cost ownership.
Understand cost drivers; build zero based business plan and rolling estimates; prepare and complete all upload templates and provide all relevant analysis and reports.
Provide inputs relevant to supporting robust month end financial analysis (MTD & YTD vs BP, RE & PY) allowing management to fully understand the nature of all variances.
Drive the cost ownership agenda by providing financial support and analysis to Manufacturing Cost Centre Managers and Capex stakeholders
Management reporting
Liaise with wider Supply Chain team to collate all deliverables relevant for Supply Chain Finance month end management reporting decks.
Provide Supply Chain Finance input to CFO Report, P&L Deep Dive, Ad-hoc Supply Chain Reports.
CAPEX control
Manage Capex end-to-end to ensure we are aligned with Group Policy for Approval structure including Capex classification, provide financial justifications, project post-implementation evaluations, capex cashflow for BP and Forecasts and maximise cash capex spend within financial year.
Ensuring accuracy of Fixed asset related balance sheet accounts including review of Open Capex POs & Assets Under Construction Monthly review, Month-end SSFs - Capex capitalisations and Disposals.
ARE THESE YOUR SECRET INGREDIENTS?
Essential Criteria
Minimum of 2 - 3 years' experience as a Financial Analyst in a Management Reporting/Controlling environment (ideally in FMCG or Large PLC)
Qualified Accountant (CIMA, ACCA etc)
Location can be Knockmore Hill or Huntstown office based, although there will be a requirement for significant time to be spent in KMH
Desire and ambition to progress to management position in short time period
Excellent communication skills both written and oral
Excellent Microsoft Office/Excel and MS Access Skills
Continuous Improvement and Strive for Simplicity Mindset
Proven ability to work under pressure cross functionally and achieving competing deadlines in a time pressured environment
Proven stakeholder management and business partnering skills.
Ability to effectively prioritise workload and successfully deal with ad hoc requests from multiple stakeholders
Comfortable navigating complexity and uncertainty and a proven ability to conduct analysis with sometimes incomplete information
Desired Criteria
Knowledge of SAP ERP, BW and Power BI will be considered an advantage
Supply chain finance experience will be considered an advantage
