RSL are seeking an additional Manufacturing Maintenance Technician for its rotating day/back shift pattern. A department with exciting challenges and opportunities to make a real impact within the manufacturing side of the business. Responsible for providing maintenance, installation, testing and ensuring smooth operations of our bespoke machinery for the medical industry.

Who are we looking for?

An experienced Manufacturing Maintenance Technician to join our rotating shift teams. This is a full time permanent position on a dayshift/backshift rotation - 40 hours per week.

What you will do.

Maintenance Technician responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

Maintenance of all equipment ensuring smooth running of machinery. Effective reporting as part of a preventative maintenance scheme. Technical assistance to Operators/staff on shift. Calibration of production equipment. Ability to set/run Tapemaking Machines when required (training will be given). General facility maintenance and improvements. Training of new or existing personnel where required.
This role will involve ad hoc projects that seek to continually improve the efficiency, quality and standard of the work areas, machinery and processes.

About You!

A team player who is keen to learn and contribute. With a good understanding of Health & Safety at Work, excellent work ethic and attention to detail, methodical and tidy. Ability to read and follow technical drawings and skilled in the use of hand and power tools.

What competencies will you need?

A relevant NC/HNC is desirable Ability to learn new tasks quickly and to multitask when required, good time management is essential You must be a logical thinker with excellent attention to detail Good computer skills are required You may be required to train for a First Aid Qualification as part of this role (where suitable).

Additional Details: -

Dayshift hours- Monday to Friday 6am to 2pm Backshift hours- Monday to Thursday 2pm to Midnight 40 hours per week
