Our client, a leading aerospace manufacturer, are currently recruiting for a talented Manufacturing Manager for their facility in the West Midlands. The successful Manufacturing Manager will be tasked with providing manufacturing leadership excellence, supporting the business in the production and manufacture of high-quality machined parts & assemblies. This role will be overseeing special processes, so experience with heat treatment, surface treatment and or NDT processes would be highly beneficial.

Role Responsibilities \xe2\x80\x93 Manufacturing Manager

• Provide direction and technical expertise with manufacturing techniques.
• Project scheduling and resource management
• Ability to manage change.
• Takes ownership and responsibility for the current working environment in line with EH&S policy and procedures.
• Ensure standard operating procedures and project guidelines are in place.
• Understanding of technical equipment within a manufacturing environment.
• Appreciation with heat treatment of various material for Carburising, Hardening, Nitriding, Precipitation hardening, and Stress relieve processes.
• Ensuring compliance quality procedures as dictated by NADCAP requirements.
• Planning, budgeting and reporting on projects.
• Will conduct regular team meetings and track their performance / progress.
• Recruitment processes, performance reviews, identify areas of improvement, give feedback via the appraisal process.

Skills and Attributes \xe2\x80\x93 Manufacturing Manager

• Manufacturing leadership experience within Aerospace, Automotive or similar industry
• Educated to degree level or equivalent.
• Knowledge of manufacturing techniques.
• Understanding of the importance of meeting production demands
• Self-sufficiency combined with the ability to work in a team environment.
• Strong interpersonal skills
