Are you an experienced Production/Manufacturing Manager? Can you adapt quickly to change in a highly regulated environment?
A manufacturing SME in Derbyshire is on the lookout for a Operations Manager to join the business. They\xe2\x80\x99re looking to upskill their workforce and drive improvement across the whole of production.
The business manufacture high quality products and work with a global, blue-chip customer base. You\xe2\x80\x99ll have the chance to make significant improvements as they go through a period of change and growth.
Day to day you\xe2\x80\x99ll be responsible for:
- Managing production processes and production planning.
- 4 direct reports and circa 20 indirect reports.
- Overseeing purchasing of raw materials for production and managing inventory.
- Ensuring compliance of health, safety and infrastructure across the site.
- Driving continuous improvement through modern manufacturing techniques.
You\xe2\x80\x99ll need to have experience of working in an SME environment \xe2\x80\x93 being proactive and driven will be the key in adapting quickly to change.
Communication and relationship building skills are also fundamental. Being calm under pressure, organised and focused on task will be important.
