Manufacturing Operatives - Manvers, Rotherham
We are currently recruiting for hands-on Manufacturing Operatives to join a small, fast-growing furniture manufacturer based in Manvers, Rotherham. If you are looking for a long-term opportunity within the furniture manufacturing industry and have a strong work ethic with a desire to learn, this could be the role for you.
Pay & Hours:

• 12.21 per hour
• Monday to Friday, 7:30am - 4pm
• Optional overtime available after 37.5 hours
• Immediate starts available
• Permanent contract available after 12 weeks
• Guaranteed full-time hours

Duties Include:

• Manufacturing MDF and oak furniture products including wardrobes, desks, bedside tables and storage units
• Manual handling of furniture panels ready for production
• Using hand and power tools to assemble hinges, mounting plates and cabinet profiles
• Quality checking assembled parts and completed furniture
• Preparing finished orders for despatch
• Carrying out additional workshop duties as required

Skills & Experience Required:

• Previous experience in a similar manufacturing role or strong DIY/handy skills
• Excellent attention to detail
• Physically fit due to the manual nature of the role
• Positive "can-do" attitude
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Ability to multi-task effectively
