Job Summary:
We are looking for a highly organized and analytical?Manufacturing Planner?to join our Electronics manufacturing team. This role is critical in ensuring that production schedules align with customer demand, inventory levels, and manufacturing capacity. The ideal candidate will have experience in fast-paced, high-volume manufacturing.
Propose required safety stock levels (finished goods / subcomponents) to prevent stockouts caused by unexpected spikes in demand, production issues, or supply chain delays. To the job summary.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop and control production schedules and inventory based on customer demand, sales forecasts, and available inventory.
Raise (when required) Production Works Orders in line with stock build and sales order requirements.
Improve forecasting accuracy, inventory levels, and service through effective communication with internal teams
Create forward-looking production plans (4-12 weeks) and highlight potential bottlenecks
Coordinate with procurement, logistics, and manufacturing teams to ensure timely availability of finished products.
Manage urgent customer requests (including prototype builds) and integrate them into production schedules where feasible.
Monitor production performance and adjust plans to address delays, shortages, or changes in customer requirements.
Qualifications:
Proven experience in production planning within the automotive or manufacturing sector.
Strong knowledge of ERP systems (e.g., SAP,) and production planning tools.
Knowledge of inventory management, lean manufacturing, and process optimisation.
Ability to work in a dynamic, fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities.
Preferred Skills:
Experience with ERP systems (SAP Business One with Beas Manufacturing?advantageous)
Advanced?Microsoft Excel?skills (formulas, pivot tables, data analysis).
Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
Well organised with excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
Able to manage multiple priorities and to work independently, without direct supervision.
Root cause analysis and problems solving skills.
