Job Description
The Manufacturing Planner is responsible for coordinating and planning production schedules to ensure efficient manufacturing operations. This role involves balancing production capacity, material availability, and customer demand to meet quality and delivery expectations. The planner works closely with procurement, production, warehouse, engineering, and quality departments to optimize workflow and minimize delays.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop and maintain production schedules based on sales forecasts, customer orders, and inventory levels.
Ensure timely availability of raw materials, components, and resources to meet production targets.
Monitor work-in-progress and adjust schedules as needed due to delays, equipment failures, or changes in demand.
Coordinate with purchasing and supply chain teams to resolve material shortages or delivery issues.
Analyse capacity and recommend adjustments to labour, equipment, or processes to improve efficiency.
Communicate production plans and changes to shop floor personnel and other departments.
Track key performance indicators (KPIs) such as on-time delivery, schedule adherence, and inventory turns.
Participate in continuous improvement initiatives, such as lean manufacturing and process optimization.
Use ERP or MRP systems to manage planning data and generate production orders.
Support new product introductions by integrating planning requirements into existing workflows.

Pay: 27,000.00-29,000.00 per year
