Jones is a family run catering butchers (est. 1962), with a close-knit team of butchers, production operators, warehouse assistants and delivery drivers, supplying meats from around the world to London and the Home Counties.

Reports into our Junior Production Manager.
Responsibilities:
Follow daily workflow within manufacturing & production.
Operate production machinery to produce required meat products for upcoming orders and stock replenishment.
Use recipe and stock management systems accurately to ensure all items are to spec and full traceability on all products.
Prepare and cut various types of meat, including beef, pork, lamb, and poultry, according to specifications.
Understand our range of meat products and be able to identify items not to spec.
Weigh, pack and seal products accurately, to spec and efficiently.
Maintain cleanliness of the Manufacturing & Production Centre.
Maintain all production equipment and report any issues to the Junior Production Manager in a timely manner.
Assist with inventory taking and stock rotation.
Participate in training relevant to your role and ensure all aspects are understood and put into practice.
Identify any gaps in knowledge and understanding and seek support from the management team.
Understand, follow and maintain quality assurance and food safety protocols within the Production Centre.
