Summary

We are seeking a dedicated Production Operative to join our meat manufacturing team.

Responsibilities

Production of raw meat products as per daily manufacturing plan. Daily monitoring of stock levels, trays and packaging. Adherence to SOPs Awareness of allergens Awareness of cross contamination of species Ensuring all products are produced in line with Product specifications & QAS sheets Compliance of health and safety regulations as per company procedures. Compliance of food safety and hygiene regulations as per company procedures. Ensuring production documentation is completely accurately and in a timely manner.

Prior experience

Experience in production of multi-product BRC Grade food factory desirable. Experience within the meat/chilled/frozen food/retail industry desirable

Requirements

Experience in food production or a similar manufacturing environment is preferred. Strong understanding of food safety regulations and practices. Basic mechanical and/or IT knowledge to troubleshoot equipment issues as they arise. Good numerical skills for basic calculations related to production measurements.
