Manufacturing Shift Manager
We are recruiting an experienced Manufacturing Shift Manager to lead a production team within a high-compliance manufacturing environment operating a 4 on / 4 off rotating shift pattern (2 days, 2 nights).
This is a hands-on leadership role with full responsibility for Health & Safety, Quality, output delivery, and people management on shift. You'll lead Working Team Leaders and operators, ensuring production targets are met safely, efficiently, and to the highest standards.
Key Responsibilities
Lead and motivate manufacturing teams on shift
Drive strong Health & Safety culture and full compliance
Ensure quality standards, procedures, and controls are followed
Deliver shift production targets and manage labour effectively
Coach and develop Working Team Leaders
Manage performance, training, absence, and conduct
About You
Proven experience in a manufacturing shift leadership role
Strong knowledge of H&S and Quality systems
Confident, visible shop-floor leader
Comfortable managing teams in a 24/7 or rotating shift environment
Qualifications
IOSH Managing Safely (essential)
Lean / Continuous Improvement experience advantageous
Salary & Shifts
Salary: 53k pa (inclusive of shift allowance)
4 on / 4 off rotating days/nights
