Full administrative support of the implementation of Sicon manufacturing system + Sage 200 across the operating functions and maintenance of the integrity of the system., whilst we are currently live, we're in the early stages of this process. This role will involve working closely with the Design, Stores, Procurement, Commercial and Production teams, your primary focus will be to assist with the implementation of Sicon 200 + Sage 200 throughout the entire operation and product portfolio. Helping to optimise production workflow and ensuring seamless coordination between the various departments throughout the business.
Key Responsibilities
Assist the Project Lead - to help the team navigate and utilise Sage 200 and Sicon Manufacturing software with building BOMS (incl. Work Centre structuring), stock code integrity, purchase order control, sales order control, works order control to enable them to track stock levels, monitor production progress, and generate accurate financial reports.
Assist with researching and analysing other software that can be used to assist the business achieve production and capacity planning ambitions.
Assist with ensuring that MRP is running correctly and accurately with purchasing and production - Investigating/resolving issues and providing support to users of the system where required.
Work closely with the operational stakeholders to methodically, to ensure robust changes are implemented.
Drive communication, training and employee engagement with the Sage 200 and Sicon systems, ensuring all Departmental Managers are aware of the requirements of their teams.
Creation of procedures for Sage/Sicon transaction that all personnel follow.
Reporting of issues requiring third party support.
Previous Experience
Numerate and IT skills with extensive software proficiency covering a wide variety of applications, basic MRP and computer planning systems knowledge.
Knowledge and experience of using Sage 200 Manufacturing or Sicon (or similar systems).
Knowledge of Bills of Materials / MRP / Purchase Orders / Sales Orders / Works Orders.,
Project Management experience
Experience of working in a high paced engineering or manufacturing environment.
Works independently, decisive, sound judgement, problem solver with the ability to work under pressure and motivate others.
Ability to meet tight deadlines and maintain a high level of attention to detail.
Willing to undertake training of department leads/other as superusers in the requirements and functionality of Sage by department.
Excellent communicator from shop floor, through to Director level.
Proven record of implementing change within an organisation.
