Role Summary:
Accountable for running a production process line, which includes machinery. In charge of a production team which can vary from 3 to 7 employees. Communicate company goals, safety practices, and deadline to team members. Motivate team members and assess performance. To provide support to management, aid with training for employees, and ensuring management is updated regarding team performance.
Days: Mon-Thurs
Hours: 2.30pm-1.30am
Key Responsibilities:
Full accountability for the working areas quality and production within the shift.
Full accountability of the achievement of production target set by shift leader and paperwork for traceability.
Cleanliness of the working area.
Full accountability for ensuring the staff always wear the correct PPE provided.
Full accountability for ensuring work area has signed out at the start of the shift and returned knives and scissors at the end of the shift.
To support the HSE and quality team.
Create a positive team environment.
The day to day running of the production line you are working on.
Keeping up to date your paperwork for the day.
Management of your team.
Be able to problem solve if a problem occurs.
Recording data on paper or ERP systems as part of duties.
Qualification:
FMCG environment experience ideally but not essential.
