We're recruiting for a Marine Agent to join the team delivering one of the UK's most significant infrastructure projects - Sizewell C.

As part of the Civil Works Alliance (CWA), you'll play a frontline role in the offshore delivery of Sizewell C - a 3.2-gigawatt power station that will generate clean electricity for 6 million homes and play a critical part in our low-carbon energy future.

As Marine Agent, you'll lead offshore works from the front, acting as the Project Manager's representative at sea. You'll coordinate marine operations, oversee daily site activities on vessels, and ensure that all offshore construction is executed safely, efficiently and in line with technical and programme requirements.

This is a role where deep operational understanding meets day-to-day leadership. You'll be responsible for:



Running daily offshore site operations -- from managing vessel crews and plant to coordinating with engineers and subcontractors



Leading health, safety and environmental performance offshore, including Toolbox Talks, safety briefings, and permit management



Ensuring marine works are delivered to specification, on time and to quality, while maintaining comprehensive site records



Supporting technical resolution, constructability input, and clear communication between onshore and offshore teams



Driving productivity through accurate reporting, short-term planning, and monitoring against programme KPIs



Championing quality assurance through inspections, handover documentation, and non-conformance management

You'll need to bring:

Demonstrable experience in marine or offshore construction



A strong grasp of site safety, permits, and offshore risk management (e.g. confined space, hot works)



The ability to lead daily operations with clarity, calm and confidence



Familiarity with quality processes, temporary works coordination, and productivity tracking



A recognised qualification in construction or engineering (or equivalent experience), plus sea survival certification (or willingness to complete it)

This is a hybrid role during planning stages (London or Bristol) and site-based in Suffolk and offshore during delivery. You'll be part of a collaborative, multi-disciplinary team delivering essential infrastructure that supports our national net-zero goals.
