We are seeking a skilled Marine Communications Engineer to join our team. This role involves working onboard superyachts worldwide, requiring frequent travel outside the UK on a weekly basis.
Key Responsibilities
Install UHF crew radio systems onboard vessels
Install cellular antenna systems on superyachts
Install antennas and components with precision
Terminate and test coaxial cabling
Work with attention to detail in a marine environment
Adapt to international working environments
Requirements
Proven hands-on experience with equipment installation
Self-motivated with a willingness to learn
Full clean driving license
Detail-oriented with ability to work diligently
Comfortable with weekly international travel
Experience working within the RF spectrum (desired)
EU Passport holder (desired)
Who Should Apply
Hands-on technicians are encouraged to apply! You might be an ex-Sky or BT installer looking for a more exciting role. While RF (two-way radio) experience is beneficial, we provide comprehensive training for candidates without this background. Our training program may take up to 18 months to complete, ensuring you can operate proficiently in high-profile environments. Ex-military are encouraged to apply.

This position is 100% field-based, requiring extensive travel. The ideal candidate will be comfortable working away from home regularly while maintaining high-quality installation standards in the luxury yacht sector. Based in Chelmsford, Essex.
