Vacancy for a Marine Engineer to work within the leisure sector
We are a long established (25 yrs) small local marine engineering business, specializing in all aspects of the maintenance and repair of most makes of diesel inboard propulsion and generator units, outboard motors, stern drives and other transmission systems.
We supply and install new engines, drives and outboards to customer's specification.
We use the latest computer diagnostic equipment allowing us to work with all brands of engine electronic systems. We also carry out vessel electrical work including diagnostic, repair and new system installations. We also supply and install navigational electronics including complete new integrated systems as well as stand alone units.
We are looking for someone who can demonstrate:
Strong mechanical and electrical knowledge
Good communication skill and able to comfortably liaise with customers
Experience in using manuals and electronic diagnostic equipment
Previous experience in the marine engineering sector
Smart and presentable appearance and a clean work ethic
Takes pride in their work and shows attention to detail
Clean driving licence
