Morgan Marine, a long-established and respected UK boatyard, is expanding its engineering team as part of its growth within the leisure marine sector. We are seeking a skilled Leisure Marine Engineer (or an experienced engineer from automotive/agricultural backgrounds with transferable skills) to support our service, repair and installation work on a wide range of marine engines and systems.
Key Responsibilities Electrical & Mechanical Work
Diagnose and repair faults on outboard, inboard, petrol and diesel engines.
Carry out routine servicing and maintenance.
Install outboard and inboard engines.
Systems & Electrical
Install and maintain propulsion, steering, generators and ancillary boat systems.
Maintain fuel, hydraulic and water systems.
Install, upgrade and diagnose faults on low-voltage electrical systems.
Reporting & Customer Service
Provide accurate time estimates and parts requirements.
Complete clear engineer reports.
Work to high quality and safety standards at all times.
About You
Experience in leisure marine engineering preferred; automotive/agricultural backgrounds also considered.
Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills.
High standards of workmanship and customer care.
Excellent understanding of health and safety.
Flexible approach to working hours during busy periods.
Hours & Salary
Monday to Friday, 8.00am-5.00pm.
Additional hours may be required during peak periods.
Salary dependent on experience.
