To supplement our team of highly skilled Marine Engineers and their apprentices on refit projects in our modern purpose built facilities, provide in-service support to commercial clients and to service the needs of our marina client base working on a range of sailing and motor yachts as well as maintaining our own company vessels.
The following attributes are essential for this role:
Recognised City & Guilds Level 3 marine engineering apprenticeship
Experienced installing, servicing and repairing a range of marine diesel engines, ancillary equipment and propulsion systems
Ability to recognise and diagnose system faults
Strong mechanical fitting skills
Excellent eye for detail
Reliable
Motivated
Ability to work unsupervised to exacting standards
Proven Marine industry track record
The following attributes are desirable for this role:
Fabrication in S/S and Aluminium
Good working knowledge of hydraulic systems
