Acaster Marine are currently expanding the engineering team due to continued growth and a strong reputation within the leisure marine industry, we are currently seeking all levels from apprentice to experienced Marine Engineers to join our dynamic team.

We are Volvo penta, Mercury, Tohatsu and Honda Marine trained engineers and

are looking to increase the headcount of our engineering department.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for the maintenance of marine systems and equipment. This role requires a strong understanding of engineering principles, as well as the ability to work collaboratively in a dynamic environment. The Marine Engineer will play a crucial role in ensuring the efficiency and safety of marine operations.

Duties

Day to Day service and maintenance of a range of Vessels Fault finding, diagnosis and rectification work on inboard Engine / Propulsion systems Installation of replacement parts Working in a customer facing capacity Conduct tests to ensure reliability and performance. Prepare technical documentation, including reports and specifications.

Qualifications

Marine Engineering experience preferred however full training provided, including Honda, Mercury, Tohatsu & Volvo Penta training. Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to apply engineering principles effectively. Excellent problem-solving skills with a focus on root cause analysis. Ability to work both independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment. Strong communication skills to convey technical information clearly

Pay: 23,000.00-45,000.00 per year
