Description:

Landau Marine is looking for an experienced Marine Project Manager to lead our Commercial & Small Boats division. This is a hands-on leadership role within a growing marine engineering business, ideal for someone with strong boat knowledge, people-management experience, and a proven ability to deliver projects on time and on budget.

Our operations are based across Woolston and Marchwood.

Key Responsibilities:

Plan, schedule, and manage multiple marine projects from start to completion Manage engineer and subcontractor scheduling, workload, and day-to-day supervision Ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to agreed quality standards Manage procurement of parts and materials, ensuring availability, cost control, and supplier coordination Monitor project costs, margins, and expenditure throughout delivery Lead, motivate, and manage engineering teams, promoting strong performance and teamwork Ensure all work complies with Health & Safety requirements and ISO processes Support the sales team with pricing, estimates, and technical input where required Act as a key point of contact for clients, supporting meetings, site visits, and progress updates

Essential Skills & Experience

Proven experience in a Marine Project Manager or marine role Strong knowledge of boats and marine systems (essential) Demonstrated people-management experience, including leading engineers and subcontractors Experience managing project schedules, staff allocation, and workloads Strong understanding of project cost control, parts management, and budgeting Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced marine environment Confident communicator with strong organisational skills Background in marine engineering or technical marine operations preferred
