Location: Flexible

Salary: \xc2\xa347,408 rising to \xc2\xa352,359 per annum through annual increments being paid each year. (Pro rata for part time applicants).

Contract Type: Fixed Term appointment until 30/09/2025 with the possibility of extension

Work Pattern: Full Time, 37 hours per week
(Part Time, Annualised Hours, Compressed Hours or Term Time Working considered - discussions at interview stage welcome)

Are you experienced at supervising and supporting multiple staff? Do you have a background in regulation and experience of work-planning and delivery.Then we ve got the job for you!

As Natural Resources Wales s (NRWs) marine regulatory policy and approach team leader you will lead and manage a new team who are leading the development and continuous improvement of Marine Licensing. Your team will influence policy development, improve processes, develop guidance and deliver training. They will also actively work with a wide variety of stakeholders including NRW staff, our service users, Welsh Government and other regulators.

You will support the high-profile work of the team through work planning, risk management, building resilience and inspiring a high performing team. You will work to build a strong network and work in partnership with the wider NRW organisation, Welsh Government and relevant industry sector groups.

You will likely have expertise in supervising staff and technical understanding of regulation, with strong communication and work planning skills.

We are looking for an experienced, enthusiastic and energetic professional to be part of a Wales wide team of marine experts.
