We are looking for a Market Data Analyst to be based at our site in Marston Gate (MK43 0YL).

In this role, the successful candidate will lead on the macro environment analytics, including potential impacts to control tower activities. As a Market Insights Analyst, you will assess internal and external business processes and associated issues, determining requirements, providing recommendations to improve processes and shaping solutions.

You will be responsible for undertaking detailed business analysis, outlining problems, opportunities and solutions for the business, therefore, we are looking for someone with proven experience of analysing large volumes of data from a range of sources to produce conclusions and recommendations.

Working Monday to Friday on a 40 hour per week contract, the role will offer a salary of up to \xc2\xa332,000 per annum (DOE) with the opportunity to work remotely up to 3 days per week (Subject to Business Requirements).

Main Responsibilities:

1. Market Insights
a. Proactively monitor and update Yusen Control Tower personnel and Healthcare clients on key regulatory, judicial and industry issues and decisions that affect the pharmaceutical supply chain industry.
b. Effectively prepare detailed market intelligence reports, inclusive of impact analysis across respective customer profiles.

2. Data Analysis
a. Undertaking detailed business analysis, outlining problems, opportunities, and solutions for the business.
b. Effective Requirements Management including documenting and prioritising business, technical, functional, and non-functional requirements

3. Business Analysis
a. Working closely with stakeholders to determine appropriate processes, services, and software to deliver solutions to meet business needs, problems and defined future states.
b. Actively contribute to the planning and execution of testing along with activities required for implementation and business readiness.

4. Thought Leadership/Capability Development
a. Contribute to the continuous improvement of Business Change capability through development of Business Analysis competencies.


Key requirements:

• Computer Science or related subject preferable, although other STEM subjects may be considered
• ISEB BA Diploma and/or relevant Agile Scrum Certifications, desirable
• Detailed understanding of relevant BA tools and methodologies
• Familiarity with both Waterfall and Agile methodologies
• Skilled in the production of scope and functional specification documents, gap analysis, etc
• Use of structured methodologies such as SSADM, Prince2, UML, BPMN to enable requirements elicitation, requirements management and process modelling
• Cost benefit analysis skills
• Excellent oral and written communication skills
• Strong analytical thinking and problem solving
