Casa Mia is looking for a vibrant and customer-focused

Market Stall Assistant

to join our market stall team. If you're passionate about sales, love interacting with people, and enjoy working outdoors, this is the perfect role for you! Note: This role involves working independently most of the time, except during organisational and loading/unloading tasks. Working hours between 5am-4pm, variable depending on locations.

Key Responsibilities:

Engage with customers at our market stalls in locations such as Hexham, Newcastle, Northallerton, Richmond, Hebden Bridge, Saltaire, Otley, and major events like Malvern, Hampton Court, Bath, or Piece Hall. Sell Casa Mia's delicious cakes and products with enthusiasm. Assist with setting up and organising market stalls, including loading/unloading equipment. Provide excellent customer service in a fast-paced, outdoor environment.

Requirements:

Excellent communication and customer service skills with experience in sales or front-facing roles. Smart appearance and a lively, approachable demeanour. Comfortable working outdoors in various weather conditions, and on early morning till late afternoon. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle physical tasks (loading/unloading). Flexible availability to attend regular markets and occasional major events throughout the year.

Travel:

Ideally owning a car or being able to reach market locations independently. Alternatively, candidates can meet at our production kitchen (9 Buslingthorpe Green, Leeds, LS7 2HG) and travel with the team for regular markets. For major events, travel with the team or independently is acceptable. Positive attitude and team spirit.
