The role
We are recruiting for an enthusiastic and driven Research Manager who thrives on being part of a fast-paced large client account, and who brings a proven, strong track record working in a research agency in a quantitative role.

What will I be doing?
You will be working as a key member of our team, you\xe2\x80\x99ll be helping us to develop and achieve the business growth plan for our No. 1 client. With a focus on building and strengthening client relationships you will work in a team accountable for the delivery of accurate data that can be turned into commercial insight.

Working as a Research Manager on the programme you\xe2\x80\x99ll deliver impactful end-to-end quantitative tracking research feeding into the programme from set-up, to design, execution, and delivery of accurate data onto a client reporting portal.

This role will enable you to grow your:

Client focus:

  • Actively engage with the clients during collaborative brainstorming sessions to convert research objectives into questionnaires and actionable KPIs.
  • Support the client to self-serve their data and insight needs directly on the online reporting platform through effective relationship building and coaching.
  • Take ownership and lead day-to-day client conversations on project and wider account related topics.
Data focus:
  • Support accurate & efficient data deliver by designing logical data specifications to enable clear and strategic reporting of KPIs.
  • Take ownership of data accuracy on the client online reporting platform through integrity of data design and data quality checks.
Partner focus:
  • Further develop communication & organisation skills through effective collaboration with multiple operational, support & client teams across the end-to-end project process.
Team focus:
  • Effectively manage resources and workloads across the project team, supporting our drive for efficient working and continuous improvement.
  • Oversee development of project team members by providing guidance, support and coaching.

What do I need to bring with me?
To be successful in the role you\xe2\x80\x99ll need to:
  • Have a desire to contribute to important work for the health of society, helping our client convert cigarette smokers to reduced risk products. And the opportunity to be part of a client account that spans different specialisations.
  • Demonstrate clear logical thinking, strong communication skills and commercial drive. Working closely with the Associate Directors and Directors in the team, you\xe2\x80\x99ll contribute to the development of and be responsible for delivering elements of the business plan.
  • Bring an openness to learn and develop your skills to the benefit of both yourself individually but also the programme team as a whole.
Ideally you\xe2\x80\x99ll also have:
  • Experience in building great relationships with clients beyond the transactional, demonstrating a genuine interest in them and their business issues.
  • Excellent understanding of survey design and how to convert this to actionable data design and KPIs.
  • Good knowledge and experience of working with longitudinal data and, ideally, experience across a range of studies covering different business needs.
  • A strong knowledge of data design and processing, a passion for delivering accurate data and ideally a knowledge of working with online reporting platforms.
  • Leadership skills and be a role model who is easy to work with and has time for others, enjoying coaching and mentoring.
