Marketing and Administration Assistant
Location: NI Screen, 21 Alfred Street, , Belfast
Salary: 13.45 per hour (Real Living Wage)
Contract: Fixed-term training placement (4 months)
Hours: 37 hours/week
Closing Date: Friday 31st October at 1pm

The Creative Industries New Entrants (CINE) Programme offers an exciting opportunity to gain real-world experience in the screen and creative industries, with paid work and hands-on training, while building transferable skills for a future career.
This opportunity is open to new entrants aged 18+ who are currently underrepresented in the screen industries. To be eligible, applicants must meet at least one of the following:

About the Role
As a CINE Marketing and Administration Assistant, you will support Northern Ireland Screen's communications and operations teams. You'll help create and share content, manage communications channels, assist with events and projects, and ensure day-to-day administrative tasks run smoothly. You don't need prior professional experience, just enthusiasm, reliability, and a willingness to learn.
Key Responsibilities

  • Marketing and Communications Support
  • Issue daily media clippings and monitor relevant press coverage
  • Manage an information mailbox, responding to and directing enquiries
  • Support the creation of content for newsletters, social media, and website updates
  • Assist in organising digital content libraries and the stills archive
  • Use online tools to collate and report on social media analytics
  • Support the development and rollout of a new website
  • Administrative and Project Support
  • Provide day-to-day administrative assistance to the team
  • Maintain and update internal databases and contact lists
  • Support procurement processes, including collating supplier quotes
  • Assist with the coordination and delivery of events, workshops, and stakeholder engagements
  • Contribute to communications materials and website rollout
Essential Criteria
Interest in marketing, communications, or administration in the creative industries
Good communication and teamwork skills
Organised and reliable, able to manage multiple tasks
Willingness to follow instructions and ask questions to learn
Right to work in the UK
Desirable Criteria
Experience with digital tools, social media, or content management systems
Experience in event support, project administration, or customer-facing roles
Interest in developing a career in marketing, communications, or the creative industries
