Key Points:
Exciting New Position being created to join the senior management team of a family run business operating 7 small-medium size nursing/care homes (circa 20 years) across the UK- in the North East and North West of England. You will work directly alongside the CEO, Group operations director, regional manager and managers to help Caring and Leading become a market leader in the sector.

Marketing & Community Engagement Coordinator
to help elevate our brand, enhance family engagement, and strengthen our visibility across the North East.
This is a flexible
part-time role (10-20 hours/week)
ideally suited to someone with experience in social media, PR, digital marketing, community engagement, or communications.
What You'll Do
Social Media & Digital Presence
Manage and schedule engaging content across
Facebook, Instagram and LinkedIn
.
Visit each home to
capture high-quality photos and videos
that showcase resident life, team stories and special moments.
Grow our online engagement, audience reach and community presence.
Work closely with home managers to gather stories, updates and content opportunities.
Community & Press Engagement
Build relationships with
local newspapers, journalists, community groups and partners
.
Proactively pitch stories and positive news from across our homes.
Support PR campaigns, award nominations, and community events.
Reputation & Review Management
Lead strategies to increase
positive online reviews
(Carehome.co.uk, Google, Facebook).
Work with teams and families to move each home closer to a
10/10 rating on care home UK and develop innovative ways to engage with community
.
Monitor feedback and promote best practice in family communication.
Marketing & Private-Pay Growth
Assist in campaigns that strengthen our
private market presence
.
Create digital and print marketing materials, brochures and promotional assets.
Support enquiry conversion strategies by aligning marketing with occupancy goals.
Website & Written Content
Update and maintain the group's website, including stories, galleries and news posts.
Ensure each home's page remains current, welcoming and consistent in tone.
Newsletters & Group Engagement
Help produce
regular newsletters
for families, residents and staff.
Support in coordinating events, seasonal campaigns and friendly competitions between homes.
Enquiry Monitoring & Phone System Improvement
Monitor incoming care enquiries
and how each home responds.
Recommend improvements in call-handling, follow-up processes and enquiry management.
Review and enhance the group's
phone interface system
to ensure excellent first impressions.
Provide insights to improve the journey from enquiry ? visit ? admission.
What We're Looking For
Experience in marketing, social media, PR, communications or a similar role.
Strong photography and videography skills (professional equipment not required, but a good eye is essential).
Confident communicator, comfortable engaging with families, staff and wider community stakeholders.
Excellent writing skills and attention to detail.
Creative, organised, proactive and able to work independently.
Understanding of the care sector is helpful, but not essential.
Hours & Flexibility
10-20 hours per week

Hybrid role: combination of home-working and regular on-site visits to our homes across the region.
