Hothouse Media, a dynamic publishing house behind leading automotive brands including Octane, Magneto, and the International Historic Motoring Awards, is seeking a proactive and highly organised Marketing and Events Assistant to join our team. This role is ideal for someone with a passion for media, events, and classic motoring culture, looking to gain hands-on experience across a range of marketing and administrative functions.
The successful candidate will play a key role in supporting the day-to-day operations of the marketing and events team. Tasks will include administrative support, coordinating logistics for events, responding to subscription and customer service queries, managing stakeholder communications, and assisting with social media content scheduling and engagement.
You'll also contribute to email marketing campaigns, work with Canva for basic creative tasks, and support e-commerce operations. Experience with WordPress is desirable, as occasional content updates or page maintenance may be required.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide administrative support to the marketing and events team

Handle customer and subscription inquiries across brands
Assist with the delivery of newsletters to the various audiences within the business
Assist with stakeholder communication and relationship management
Support the creation and scheduling of social media content
Use Canva for the creation of marketing assets for B2B and B2C communications
Help draft and distribute email marketing campaigns
Assist with e-commerce platform management
Update website content using WordPress
Assist with the delivery of marketing messaging across social media channels
Build on relationships with industry partners to support marketing activities
