Job Purpose:

We are seeking a proactive, organised, and creative Marketing & Events Coordinator to join our team. This is a mid-level position ideal for someone with experience in managing logistics, internal communications, staff engagement activities, and event delivery. You will play a vital role in bringing our marketing campaigns, brand presence, and internal engagement strategies to life. This role requires someone with strong attention to detail, who can manage multiple projects at once, and who brings enthusiasm and professionalism to everything they do.

Key Responsibilities



Internal Communications & Staff Engagement



Plan, draft, and deliver internal communications, including team newsletters, staff updates and announcement emails. Coordinate staff engagement initiatives, including appreciation weeks, team events, internal celebrations and themed campaigns. Maintain and support the internal comms calendar to ensure timely and inclusive communication. Promote internal activities and staff engagement through Chatterbug's digital channels. Ensure internal messaging is aligned with Chatterbug's voice, tone and values.

Event Planning & Coordination



Plan and coordinate all logistics for internal and external events, including venue booking, travel arrangements, scheduling and registrations. Source and manage event materials and branded merchandise. Attend events where required, supporting on-site setup, coordination, and breakdown. Liaise with internal stakeholders, speakers, and partners to ensure smooth event delivery. Actively seek opportunities for Chatterbug to exhibit and secure speaker slots at relevant events and conferences.

Marketing Campaign & Brand Support



Maintain campaign and event calendars and manage deadlines across the team. Coordinate the delivery of branded assets and printed materials. Promote both internal and external activities via Chatterbug's digital channels. Collaborate with partner organisations and external communications teams as needed. Support campaign execution by collaborating with team members to gather content, track timelines and prepare documentation. Uphold brand guidelines and visual standards across materials and platforms.

Experience & SkillsRequired:



2-4 years' experience in marketing, events, or communications roles. Proven ability to manage internal communication plans and event logistics independently. Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects independently. Strong organisational and time management skills. Confident communicator, written and verbal. Professional maturity and ability to take initiative without constant oversight. Comfortable using Canva, Google Workspace, and task management tools (e.g. Trello, Asana, Jira).

Desirable:



Experience working in purpose-driven, educational, or clinical sectors. Familiarity with email platforms (e.g. Mailchimp, Brevo). Experience in event photography or video capture.
