The Role

We are looking for a conscientious and hardworking PR & Marketing Assistant to support our bustling team in creating successful campaigns for clients.

The best candidates will be self-starters with strong organisational and time management skills, and a love for all things fitness and wellness, early in their career and looking to build on their skills. The position requires someone highly organised, creative, smart and with good communication skills.

Responsibilities:

Work with our PR and Marketing team members to create outstanding PR, social and email campaigns for Action Group's host of fitness and wellness clients Support the team with administrative duties including research, producing reports for clients and logging media mentions Generating creative ideas through daily news and social media research Highlighting relevant media changes and journalist movements through weekly contact curation database Scanning possible new media leads and story opportunities for client's news Creating strong connections with brands and businesses for event hosting and partnership opportunities Attending and supporting relevant teams on events and media calls Create and deliver content plans across multiple channels for several clients simultaneously Be continuously creative, coming up with engaging, on-brand content ideas and producing this in a variety of formats Follow trends in PR & marketing and make recommendations for new approaches, platforms and ideas Use key metrics to report on client coverage and marketing channels Support in planning and attending video and photography shoots Provide research support for the wider team on new projects / new business pitches

Desired skills and personal characteristics:

Strong interpersonal skills. Must be comfortable meeting new people and discussing ideas and sharing creative energy Strong oral and written communication skills A demonstrated passion and experience using social media platforms for personal or professional use A natural creative eye and experience using design software such as Canva, indesign, Illustrator or photoshop Proficient in programs including PowerPoint, MS Office and Excel Strong organisation and time management skills A passion for health and fitness

Pay: 25,000.00-26,000.00 per year
