IDEA Studio Hammersmith was newly opened at Lyric Hammersmith Theatre to provide community-based art and design education to primary school children and teenager with a variety of creative classes (Little Architect Club, Little Fashion Design Club, Little Product Designer Club with 3D Printing, Comics Club, Manga Club, Stop Motion Animation Club, Expression Art Painting Club, etc.)
JOB SUMMARY
We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven
Business Development and Sales Executive
to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for identifying new business opportunities, building relationships with potential clients, and driving revenue growth. This role requires a proactive approach to market research and a deep understanding of our products and services. The Business Development and Sales Executive will play a crucial role in expanding our client base (schools, community centres, parents groups, etc.) and enhancing our market presence.
RESPONSIBILITY
Identify and pursue new business opportunities through research, networking, and outreach.
Build and maintain strong relationships with potential clients (schools, community centres, parents groups, etc.) to understand their needs and provide tailored art and design education solutions.
Conduct market analysis to identify trends, competitor activities, and potential areas for growth.
Collaborate with the marketing team to develop strategies that effectively promote our art and design classes and the social enterprise mission.
Prepare and deliver compelling presentations to prospective clients, showcasing the value of our offerings.
Negotiate contracts and agreements with clients to secure profitable deals.
Maintain accurate records of sales activities, client interactions, and pipeline status using Salesforce software.
Provide feedback to management on market trends, customer needs, and product performance.
SKILLS
Proven experience in business development or sales, preferably within a relevant industry.
Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport with clients at all levels.
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to present ideas clearly.
Proficiency in using Salesforce software for tracking sales activities and managing client relationships.
Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and make informed decisions.
Self-motivated and target-driven with a passion for achieving results.
Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT EXECUTIVE REQUIREMENTS
Degree in marketing, business administration, or similar.
Extensive sales experience (Min. 2 years).
Intuitive and insightful, particularly regarding human behaviour.
Ability to generate revenue by identifying pain points and suggesting suitable products or services.
Professional yet affable disposition.
Neat, well-groomed appearance.
Great networking skills.
Excellent written and verbal communication.
Resourceful, with outstanding research skills.
Emboldened by challenges and be flexible to the social enterprise start-up environment.
Experience in art and design education is an asset to the candidate.
